constant calls that only ring then hang up. Driving us crazy. Need to stop or will have to get rid of phone

The person on the other end of the phone sounded Philipino. OPTION 1: If you add this number to your contacts and then add to blocked callers, the calls stop. OPTION 2: If you just answer and set the phone down, it costs them money,

This telemarketer called my home and insisted that I answer his question if I was the owner of the mortgage of the property at my residence. I was polite and asked him how he got my number because I am on the national do not call list He would not answer me and kept repeating to me "Answer my question! Are you the owner of the mortgage of the property at your residence?" I told him to not call my residence and that I was going to report him.
