SCAM. Calling from "Technical Department" wants me to turn on my computer so he can walk me through cleaning unwanted files off my computer. This is a fraudulent call aiming to get you to run a malicious program or visit a malicious website (or if they are really lucky, just hand them your credit card info). Once you do that, if successful they get control of your machine behind the scenes...steal bank logins or other credentials, and use your system for spam and phishing attacks on others.

Agent with heavy Indian accent called and stated I was having issues with my computer. That he was calling because I have a Windows system. I stated I was not and that I am in and would know if my system had issues and handle them myself.He got very rude and asked if I knew what my event viewer was. When I did he faltered. I then asked him if he was monitoring my system and if not how would he know I was having issues. I then asked him what browser I was using. He answered and at that point I informed him I was contacting the BBB and FCC as they are spying on me. At no time would he state the companies name. This is bs and I do not need the annoyance.

Guy with heavy accent say he is with ITsupport for Microsoft Windows and wants to help me fix a program that has downloaded to my computer and is creating problems. I hung up on him.

I'm not sure it was a telemarketer. I think it was a scam. Man from another country wanting to talk to me about my computer. He said It was showing that there was a problem. After a few choice words I hung up.

I answered the phone and no one there.

Called at 8:48 Sunday evening. I wish these people woulod let us have a Sunday night alone and not bother us with BS calls.

Called our home phone 540-786-2861 at 8:06 pm on Oct 7, 2013 unsolicited

Was very rude asked several question and when I would not answer him he kept asking the same question. I hung up on him.

Guy with heavy Indian accent claims to be from Microsoft Windows and knows exactly what is wrong with my computer! He just "wants to help." We happen to be a computer support service so this is hilarious. We played with him a while, finding out that he only wants you to go to a site and click a download! Then he will "help " you fix your Windows operating system. Obvious Phish. Do NOT go to the site. It is probably malware and if you download you will certainly need a computer tech to fix it
