Called and hung up twice

A person named "Michael" said my name was picked along with a select group of names saying I won $250,000. He stated that a I'll receive a letter first followed by the check 2 days later. They already had my name and mailing address before asking me first to verify if it was correct. If this was legit,I would think "Micheal" would have given me a bit more information about himself in addition to just his name. What organization would send out a $250,000 dollar check marked for regular delivery via U.S. Mail. If you win the Lottery it takes several weeks to process before you get it plus you have to go to them to claim it. I will be contacting Wal-Mart to file a formal complaint. The rep said his company was a part of Wal-Mart Intn'l based in Great Britain.
