Dear Attorney Sherwin,
My name is Aimee J Richardson and I tried to call your office a few years ago, but was turned away by your office staff. I was told that you only were taking cases where people had actually died. I even called a second time and was turned away. I asked to be connected to your voicemail to leave a message, but was told I wasn't allowed to do that either. The third time I called, the woman who answered the phone just hung up on me. My little brother who was profoundly disabled most of his life is now dead, and has been for a couple years. I'm almost dead as well, but would like to see justice done. I gave up trying to tell anyone about it a long time ago, and I am out of breath, but I still have a pulse and my brain is still working somewhat. Maybe you would consider talking to me at least? My number is 510.693.8460. My mom's number is 530.518.0737. And my friend Scott Wheeler's number is 510.848.3865. He lives in Berkeley on Walnut Street. Also, I used to live in Berkeley and I graduated from UC Berkeley in 1997. Rich Ivry was my professor and thesis advisor and I worked at Chez Panisse as a busser from 1995-1997. Alice might remember me. She always made me feel included which was great. That's what made me able to make it through Berkeley. Sometimes if a person feels too isolated or alone, they crumble. My insides have been reduced to a fine powder, and I want my little brother to know that I tried to go to bat for him. I stepped up to the plate, but only he knows how to hit it out of the park. Please help me. I promise I won't tell anyone, so they don't hurt you too.
Tell Alice Waters that I have affection for her too, and that she is my hero and a humanitarian. Thank you. aimee.richardson@protonmail.com
