THEY CALLED ME ABOUT A CAR I DON'T EVEN OWN ANYMORE! HOW DO THEY GET THERE INFORMATION? IS'NT THIS A FORM OF INVASION OF PRIVACY.

I got a call around 3pm EST and answered. They said that they represented a company that works in home security. If I would allow them to put a security system in my home then I would pay nothing as long as I allowed them to put their company sign on my lawn. I apologized and told them I live in an apartment and cannot have that, but thank you for the offer. The solicitor hung up on me. I thought that was extremely rude, so I looked up the number of the company and called them to let them know that maybe they should use another telemarketing company if they want business. They informed me that they are not using the telemarketer and they only service areas in California, which I am not in. Far from it. This is a bogus solicitation and possibly someone who wants to break into your home.
