Fake extended vehicle warranty scam. Spoofed Las Vegas phone number. They are able to call your number and you cannot block them because they claim to be a "research/survey" group. These scum are exempt from the No Call List despite millions of consumer complaints. You can, however, get off the call list by contacting www.probit.com and entering your phone number in the "Probit Called Me" drop menu.
Note: Probit is a telemarketing firm purchased by a Canadian company to get around the anti-calling laws of the USA. However, their calling lists and activities are 100% targeting American phone numbers. Probit is the firm that keeps publishing all those fake studies that show Americans are "in favor" of telemarketing. Probit supplies the US government with lists of active phone numbers on who answers their telemarketing calls.
