Received a call on my cell phone from the above number stating that my Santa Barbara Master Card had suspicious activity and I should press #1 to unlock it ??? I hung up....they called back. The number that registered on my cell was an untypical eleven numbers vs ten.
This caller is not identified by a liver person. When I tried to return he call
the message says "Sorry we are unable to record your message". The caller ID information from Aames Loan Company!
Only this identifier showed up.... was not a telemarketer but rather a phishing scheme. Got the same call yesterday from 702-777-5552. The recorded message is about my First Source Master Card. I simply hung up on both calls but assume they wanted my card number and pin.
I got a recorded message saying "Greetings. To reactivate your card press 1 now". I hung up as several friends have just recently gotten this message. All my cards are fine, so I know this is probably some kind of scam. Rings fishy to me!!
They called and said my first source bank master card has been deactivated to reativate it press 1 now. I did not press 1 and they hang up. i called my card co. and they said all iwell with my card.
