This number identifies itself as an IRS agency threatening to sue me. Message is to tell me to call them at this number to stop the lawsuit.

I got a recorded message from 718-822-9084. Saying that the IRS was suing me and I needed to call a number ( I did not have a pen and paper to write down the number. My mother and a two other people I know got the same call. IF THE IRS HAS AN ISSUE THEY SEND YOU LETTER IN THE MAIL. They do not hire some telemarketer to call you and scare the crap out of you. It is a scam!!

According to other comments from 4 years ago this number was claiming to be a computer company now they are pretending to be the IRS. The message they left me was a recording that said the IRS had a lawsuit against me and to call a different number immediately. Don't these kind of people get caught? Isn't this illegal? Why hasn't anything been done?

Said last chance IRS will file suit against me. This is just a scam to get money. I have heard of people doing this & heard people being scared & have been paying thousands of $ to these scammers

The telephone call was a recording

I answered the call they said "this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing suit against you please call immediately (unintelligible) 022397511.

They called me at 5:15 AM and then didn't even bother to answer when I picked up.

Don't call any number of mine again

it was a recorded message stating the IRS is filing suit against us. and to call a 290 number I missed the number as I didn't have a pen
