The caller was asking for someone in our office (will refrain from using name), then asked for then asked for the owner of the company, asked which one, the president, said they were not available I need more specifics so I can inform them what the call was pertaining they said a legal matter, didn't say debt collection, didn't say anything that would direct this as a legal call, asked again I then all legal matters need to be sent to our address and if this was a legal matter they would have the information the caller became very rude, I apolgized I could not help them unless I had more detail, a legal matter would have to be directed to our legal staff then said it was a legal matter against our company and told them I could not help them the caller (he) back tracked and said no not against, just kept asking for the President of the Company, I told the caller they were not available and in the field leave a message and I will have them return the call. The caller became even more irate he just wanted the president, I finally hung up the phone. If this is a telemarketer they could have had the decency not to use legal matter as part of their sales pitch or attempting to get through to a higher authority be straight up.
