I have no idea who it is or what they wanted. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. If they are legitimate and they really want to talk to me, they will leave a message. This person called twice within 20 seconds or so.
The first time this happened, I thought I hadn't turned on the "Do Not Disturb" function in Android. It turns out I did turn it on. I was confused at first, so I did some research. I found out that this is a new way scammers use to get past the "Do Not Disturb" setting.
The programmers at Android must have thought it would be a good idea to create a "loophole" for people you know who want to contact you. Unfortunately, the scammers can use it too. When two calls are placed anytime within 20 minutes of each other, it is allowed through. Fortunately, even this loophole can be turned off in 'Settings'.
