Some man called, I answered and he asked for me by name (I used to be the owner up until last year). I said, This is Connie and he hung up on me ! Well, I dont want to talk to a telemarketer anyway!

Middle eastern male called and asked for Boss by name. Told him boss was at Job site. Lots of talking in the background like a boiler room. He said he would call back. Told him good luck. Block number.

Asked for owner, even though I am that person, I always say, "He's not in, how can I help you?" Just to see who it is. He hung up on me. Well, guess what? I wrote the phone number on a sticky note and stuck it next to my computer screen. This guy and a woman constantly call; Now when I recognize the area code, I'll just say, "Let me transfer you to him, he just got out of a meeting..." And I will put them on permanent hold after that. When you hang up on me, I'll mess with you from here on out. I especially like how the woman that calls always says, "I'll catch him on his cell phone..." Yeah, no you won't.

Asked to be taken off their list and their telemarketer replied "you can ask all you want but we won't do it."

Ask for owner by name, when I said he wasn't in the office the guy said he'd catch him on his cell phone. That number isn't given to anyone and the cell phone was here anyway, but never rang.

They called our office asking for my boss. When I told him she was away he said, "Where is she at?" I said, "she is at an appointment." He said, "that lazy heifer, I will call tomrrow." and hung up.

asked for owner by name. Would not specify what call was in regards to. after asking 5 times I hung up. I called the number back and the man would still not state business name and hung up on me. Told me I could not call that number.

Asks for the owner of the company by his first name and I tell him he's not in, and he hangs up on me... RUDE!
