I GAVE ME IDENTIFYING INFORMATION TO THIS SCAMMER CLAIMING TO BE A CITIBANK CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE!!! SCAM NUMBER!!!

A man by the name of John Jahanson ( probably Johnson) fake any way calls me and claims that someone opened a fraudulant CITI bank Zelle account with my name and phone number. Also, my number was used in 2 transactions. One for $1,500 and a second transaction for $900. He gave me fake transaction numbers, and account number. He proceeds to tell me that I must call Zelle immedetly @ 844-6581271. I calledmy bank. He called me back and asks if I called Zelle yet. I then knew it was a scam. People are unbeleivable !

rec a call from 800-347-9700- a very sweet young girl advising me she was from citi bank fraud dept.- I advised I was not about to speak with her I would call HER from a verified Citi Bank number - she hung up- I suspect fraud was the intent-

MY mother was contacted asked for SSN and verification of opening citibank account, this is FRAUD and attempt to scam folks. Be careful

Received a call on my cell phone from (800) 374-9700, they listed my full name, and said they needed me to confirm info on my Citi Bank account. I don't have a Citi account. If you google this number, Citi does show up but it's fraudulent.

Caller ID says Citibankonline. Automated message says it is citibank and that they detected an "unusual" activity on my card for $1498 and if I did not make this charge to press 1 for fraud department. When 1 is pressed the call is transferred and they say "how can I help you?" I said "you called me" They did have my name. Indicated the 1498 was a charge for online speakers and they push you to log onto you app or PC - when I told them no and that I citibank would never ask for that to happen and then said "what is the last four of the card number" they hung up. Total SCAM. Do not fall for it.

Do not have an account with CitiBank - This is a repeated caller. They indicated that 4,500 had been charged on my CC WHICH I DON"T HAVE! Please stop them!

Received calls from this # for last 3 days - no-one was there when I answered Obvious scam - I have no account with citibank

Keeps calling very early AM and claiming to be Citibank stating there's a fraud charge on my account. Attempting to gain my sensitive financial info. Here's the dilema, BITCH, I AIN'T GOT A CITIBANK ACCOUNT AND YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT! WHY THE FUCK U CALL ME 6:30AM to wake and harass me w some fraud BS charges?! Im sick n tired of this constant attempting to defraud me. FOLKS: STAY ALERT n VIGILANT n Don't let these morons run game on you, Rob u, kill u.... whatever it is, it's fake, and scammers trying to get your hard earned money. Same as a few other comments here. If your caller ID states CITBANKONLINE.COM do not answer it. Does not exist. Citi will never state in a automated message an exact amount of a possible fraudulent charge. That is according to their fraud department which I called. They are phishing to steal from you on your card.

Caller ID, CitibankOnline, Stated I was charged $1,498.00.

"We found some suspicious activity on your Citibank account. Your Citibank card has been charge $1498. If you did not authorize this transaction, please press 1 to connect to a specialist..." Called Citibank and there was no such charge.

Fraud caller ID Citi ATM, no message left, even legit bank cards leave a number which will match whats on the back of your card. What is bothersome is I used my Citicard twice about an hour before the call in two different locations.
